YOUR ROLE AS A BANQUETS MANAGER
The Banquets Manager plays a critical role in supporting banquets team in fulfilling all guest expectations by delivering exceptional customer service. The Banquets Manager provides leadership and guidance on hotel's standards and reflects the highest levels of hospitality. Additionally, this role contributes to enhancing guest satisfaction by implementing effective strategies, addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally, and fostering a positive and cooperative atmosphere across different hotel departments. As a Banquets Manager you withhold a positive environment for all events, celebrations and social gatherings ensuring future retention.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:
- Lead and support the banquets team in delivering exceptional customer service and meeting guest expectations for all events and gatherings.
- Provide clear leadership and guidance on the hotel's service standards, ensuring the highest levels of hospitality are consistently reflected.
- Implement effective strategies to enhance guest satisfaction, addressing concerns promptly and professionally to resolve any issues.
- Foster a positive and cooperative atmosphere across various hotel departments, promoting collaboration and teamwork.
- Maintain a positive environment for all events, celebrations, and social gatherings, ensuring a memorable experience for guests and encouraging future retention.
- Oversee the planning and execution of banquet events, ensuring all aspects meet or exceed guest expectations.
- Monitor and evaluate banquet operations, making necessary adjustments to improve service quality and efficiency.
- Develop and train team members to uphold hotel standards and deliver excellent service.
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless integration and execution of events.
- guest feedback and implement improvements based on suggestions to continuously enhance the banquet experience.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the demands of the position.
- Able to lift and move up to 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis.
- Able to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, twist, walk, crouch, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks.
- Talking, hearing and seeing (vision) occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, Supervisors and other Employees.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferable or industry training equivalent.
Experience Required: Minimum of 3 year previous Management experience required. Minimum of 2 years of Hospitality experience required.
Licenses or Certificates: Ability to obtain and/or maintain any government required licenses, certificates or permits.
Grooming: All Employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per Mr. C standards.
