The Butler plays a key role in delivering a seamless, refined, and highly personalized guest experience, with a special focus on VIPs, suite guests, long-stay travelers, and guests celebrating special occasions. This role supports Forbes Travel Guide standards through anticipatory service, professional discretion, and exceptional attention to detail. The Butler acts as a liaison between the guest and all hotel departments to ensure every aspect of the stay exceeds expectations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned guests from pre-arrival through departure, ensuring personalized and anticipatory service throughout the stay.
- Coordinate pre-arrival preferences and special requests in collaboration with reservations, guest relations, and other departments.
- Coordinate personalized guest amenities, including welcome notes, in-room gifts, floral arrangements, specialty food and beverage items, and celebration touches, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Escort guests to their rooms upon arrival and provide a warm and detailed room orientation.
- Assist guests with unpacking and packing services upon request.
- Anticipate guest needs by observing preferences, proactively offering solutions, and ensuring thoughtful gestures throughout the stay.
- Coordinate closely with housekeeping, in-room dining, engineering, bell staff, and other departments to ensure flawless execution of guest services.
- Assist with or manage personal guest requests such as laundry, pressing, shoe care, transportation, or dining/spa arrangements.
- Ensure all guest preferences and service interactions are properly documented and communicated for future stays.
- Provide support to the Guest Relations Manager in guest recognition, VIP tracking, amenity planning, and complaint resolution.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of any designated butler pantries or storage areas.
- Always uphold a polished appearance and professional demeanor, adhering to Forbes service standards and hotel grooming guidelines.
- Maintain full confidentiality and discretion regarding all guest matters.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 1–2 years of luxury hospitality experience, preferably in front office, guest relations, or butler services.
- Strong working knowledge of Forbes Travel Guide service standards preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- High level of discretion, professionalism, and emotional intelligence.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm and gracious demeanor.
- Proficient in using hotel property management systems (e.g., Opera, HotSOS, ALICE) and Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
- Formal butler, etiquette, or Forbes service training is a strong advantage.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.
- Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting of guest belongings or amenities.
